Federal Unionist Network


The Federal Unionists Network (FUN) is a network of federal unionists and our allies organizing to support each other in strengthening our unions, improving our agencies, and building solidarity across the federal sector of the labor movement. Through a mass action campaign, federal workers and community supporters will challenge every illegitimate and unjustified layoff.

PEER (Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility)

 

PEER’s work includes representing whistleblowers, protecting government workers’ First Amendment rights, and upholding civil service laws. We also work with government employees, usually anonymously, to address issues through official channels and to bring hidden information into the light of day. In addition, we file complaints with Inspector Generals and other investigatory bodies to further the interests of our clients.

Interviews

  • You have the right to Union support.

  • It's okay to say "I don't know" or "I haven't thought of it that way".

  • You can review interview write-up & have opportunity to add statement.

  • If they do electronic investigation, they should write justification.

Removal Process

​If a full suspension or worse:

  • Must have "Proposer" (immediate supervisor) & "Decider" (higher level supervisor).

  • Have to go through 12 Douglas Factors to justify.

  • You should have at least 15 days to review & view all evidence.
